O.K. The name’s a bad pun on the Vindicator, the local newspaper of choice in the Mahoning Valley. But it does serve to illustrate one of the many beauties of doing a church plant. We are free to try anything to find out what works for us! By the way, if you haven’t caught on yet (and for those of you not familiar with the ministry plan for The Gate), the word “claim” is capitalized because it outlines the five key values that we hold to in achieving the vision God has given us: Celebrating (worship), Living (small groups), Assisting (Spiritual Gift based service), Increasing (Evangelism) and Maturing (Education).
